Welcome to WeeStu.tech. By using our website, purchasing our services, or booking a tech service/repair, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview & Business Details

WeeStu.tech provides custom airsoft technical services, upgrades, diagnostics, and repairs based in Scotland, UK. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to WeeStu.tech. References to “you,” “client,” or “customer” refer to the person accessing this site or booking our services.

2. Legal Compliance & UKARA (UK Customers)

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to book tech services, purchase airsoft replicas, or request custom builds.
  • UKVCRA / Legal Defense: For any work, modifications, or transfers involving Real Imitation Firearms (RIFs), you must hold a valid legal defense under the Violent Crime Reduction Act (VCRA) (e.g., active UKARA registration or valid skirmisher defense).
  • Power Limits (FPS/Joules): All custom upgrades and repairs will be tuned to operate within standard UK legal limits (under 1.3 Joules for full-auto replicas / under 2.5 Joules for single-shot/sniper replicas, or local field limits such as Section 8 rules). We reserve the right to refuse service on any replica requested to exceed legal power caps.

3. Tech Services, Repairs & Upgrades

  • Intake & Diagnostic Assessment: All replicas submitted for service undergo an initial assessment. If additional work or replacement parts are required beyond the initial quote, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.
  • Pre-Existing Damage: WeeStu.tech is not responsible for pre-existing internal damage, worn components, or previous third-party tech work discovered during disassembly.
  • Component Compatibility: Custom builds and upgrade work involve third-party parts. While we make every effort to ensure optimal shimming, AOE, and engagement, performance can vary based on manufacturer tolerances.

4. Gameday Drop-Offs & Collection

  • Replicas dropped off or collected at partner fields (such as Section 8 Airsoft) must be transported in a suitable secure gun bag or hard case in compliance with UK law regarding firearms/RIFs in public places.
  • Replicas left uncollected for more than 90 days post-service completion, without prior arrangement or payment, may be subject to storage fees or disposed of/sold to recover labor and parts costs.

5. Payment & Turnaround Times

  • Payment Terms: Full payment for parts and labor is required prior to the collection or return shipping of your replica.
  • Turnaround Estimates: Estimated build or repair turnaround times are non-binding estimates and depend on parts availability and seasonal workshop volume.

6. Warranty & Returns

  • Service Warranty: We offer a 30-day labor warranty on all custom tune-ups and repair work from the date of collection/delivery.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
    • Damage caused by improper battery usage (e.g., using 11.1V LiPo on un-mosfetted/unsupported setups against advice).
    • BB jams caused by cheap, low-quality, or reused BBs.
    • User disassembly, self-modifications, or physical drops/impact damage on the field.
    • Normal wear and tear of consumable parts (hop-up buckings, motor brushes, pistons over time).

7. Interactive Website Tools

The interactive calculators and assistants on WeeStu.tech (e.g., Joule Calculator, AEG Diagnostic Assistant) are provided as guidance tools only. While we aim for exact accuracy, real-world chronograph readings may vary depending on BB brand, hop-up adjustment, and environmental conditions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, WeeStu.tech shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, tools, or serviced equipment.
